What To Expect

The Porxos d’en Xifré is a historic building of Barcelona which was inaugurated in 1840 after four years of works. It occupies the block formed by the Passeig d’Isabel II, the Pla de Palau and the streets of Reina Cristina and Llauder, plots of land that were urbanized in 1834 as a result of the demolition of the sea wall. Our expert guide, Valentina was amazing. She cheerfully explained much of the background we needed to appreciate the museum origins, and Picasso's journey as an artist. We all walked away from this tour with a new found appreciation for Picasso beyond his cubism. Highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight of our time in Barcelona!

We really enjoyed this tour of the Picasso museum. Our guide was very knowledgeable and went our pace. We learned all about Picasso! The tour also included a walk around the museum, which is where Picasso lived in his teenage years, and we enjoyed a coffee with the Guide, which provided an opportunity to ask more questions. We highly recommend this tour!!!

Our guide Jordi was passionate and very knowledgeable of Picasso. He gave us the best tour time would allow. I studied Arts and even this tour proved fresh and interesting. My husband who was kind of clueless, thoroughly enjoyed.
