Perfect Day at Montserrat

Christian made our trek to Montserrat seamless. Everything was taken care of so we could enjoy the beautiful monastery, have a picnic lunch and hike in the mountains and enjoy a glass of cava at a quaint bar while we waited for our train ride home. Perfecto!
Thank you Christian!

Michael took us on a very special journey. His knowledge of Montserrat and all of its nooks and crannies gave us a complete, special yet intimate experience. You can really feel his love for the mountain and for everything he does.
Unforgettable private tour for our family!

Montserrat has so much to explore. Our guide, Christian, was amazing. Besides being fluent in 3 languages, he helped determine what parts of Montserrat would be the most interesting to our family and took us to some of the places that not all tourists go. Seeing the actual small chapel built into the cliff where the Black Madonna miracle occurred was a highlight. Along the way, he stopped to explain some of the history, architecture, and local legends that made it all make sense. It was a hot day and a lot of hills to get to the chapel and we had 2 kids and our 76 year old mother with us, but the guide stopped often to let her rest so she could enjoy the day, and he very carefully planned out the time knowing how long different sites would take to see. The things we learned from him that one day, we were referring to the rest of our vacation "Look! There's a replica of the Black Madonna!" "Look, there's the 4 red stripes of the Catalonian flag our guide from Montserrat told us about!" etc... He made the information fun and interesting and we will always look back on this as one of the best parts of our trip. Definitely would book with Christian from "The Barcelona Feeling" through Trip Advisor again when we're back in the area.
